April 17
Is National Haiku Day
Share these with a friend!

Mary had a lamb
It went everywhere she went
It's now a sweater

What is in Jell-O?
Melted down old gummy bears?
I'm afraid to ask

Clinging to my wall
The smoke detector blinks red
Like a shy dragon

Sausage patty, cheese
On toasted English muffin
Makes me so happy

Chocolate pudding cup
Tastes like a cold chocolate shake
But you can't spill it

What song do they play
When firefighters break up?
Smoke gets in your eyes

You should be happy
These poems are all haiku
Could be limericks

Cowardly lion
Did have courage after all
Believe in yourself

Wilshire, Doheny
Pico and Sepulveda
La Brea tar pits
